two weeks ago I broke up with a girl whom I thought was going to be THE one, we'd been dating for 3 months and she absolutly hated being tickled. So I dared never do it (Save that one time which she told me she hated it.)

Well anyway I told her my "fetish" and she left me plain in simple. Tough though I guess.

Anyways the question I wanna ask is do we have to TELL them our fetish? Is it possible to just have sex with a woman without tickling them? I ask becuase Im getting pretty desperate here, as there arn't many gals who have the tickle fetish. Im still living the college life so I still have a long road of searching but I dont know... I guess we all have to compromise.

Absolutley! After a certain time period of dating when the relationship is in "serious mode". I'm not saying a week into it or 20 years down the road but definately if marriage is becoming a looming spectre. If you're not completly honest, both of you, then you're just heading for disaster later on. And don't just tell her about your fetish, blab about everything. The time you stole a car, those illigetimate children in Milwaukee, all the dust you've snorted. If you come clean and she still wants to be with you and even indulge you on a few certian things then you've got a winner. If not, oh well. Better to break up than divorce.

Tough break. My sympathies. Hearing this almost makes me take for granted that the girlfriends I've had were so accepting of my "fetish".

I will echo what others have already said in saying- be honest. Lying doesn't get you anywhere, not long term anyway. It will all come back to haunt and pay you, with interest.

If this happens again, its no fault of your own. Just keep trying and never lose faith that you will find someone, someday that will accept you as you are, even this fetish of yours.

I was in a relationship in college for 4 years where my g/f "seemed" she was into tickling. Then, 2 weeks before graduation, she spilled all this crap out about how she didn't like it and wasn't into it. I was crushed...I thought 4 years of lying and deceit..an I was going to propose! Cripes...that would have been a waste! So the moral of the stroy is...you're better off counting your losses now rather than finding out in a divorce lawyers office. And sometimes its better to hide things, there's no such thing as a perfect relationship, there will always be ups and downs but its how you react to each situation that will determine how long each up and down lasts.

Ok so you told ur girl that you had a tickling fetish and she wasnt truthful to you. Basically you can either put that down as a one off or you could be more cautious about who you tell.
