pick one 😀

( please Note ) i said only pick ONE thats your favorite...not two or three or four or five etc

Mine favorite movie is. The Lost Boys. classic vampire movie at its best! its got a little bit of comedy and horror all rolled into one

The Godfather
Aside from the fact that The Godfather was so well written, acted and directed and that it jump-started Marlon Brando's fading career as well as catapulted the careers of Diane Keaton, Al Pacino & James Caan to superstardom, simply put this movie is one of the truest and most unnerving pictures of America striving - of America itself - ever filmed. A visualy stunning, powerful and beautifully filmed motion picture loaded with casual savagery yet at the same time a work even more known for it's classicism. It's always at the top of my "best of" lists.

The Crow

Just a stuning film in terms of look and feel, an incredible performance from Brandon Lee, virtually the entire film is quotable, genuine humour and some of the best use of music in a motion picture I've ever heard. One of those films that, for my generation anyway, seemed to be a defining moment in cinema. Also one of the few films I've seen where you KNOW< right from the first moment, that there can be no happy ending, yet somehow it delivers one.

Brandon Lee RIP. Taken from us far too young.

Without a doubt, The Exorcist is my favorite movie. I wasn't too thrilled with any of the sequels, but the original scared the hell out of me.

Definitely Lost Boys. Got the video right here in my video cabinet as a matter of fact. Daddy and I live about an hour and a half from Santa Cruz where they filmed it and it's my favorite vacation place. I keep hoping that the Boyz will swoop down and bite the heck outta me. BUT Daddy does just fine.LOL.

I'm with BOFH. The Crow is a masterpiece. One of those movies that just takes hold of your breath and doesn't release it until the credits roll. And even then you're sobbing too hard to inhale properly. I could never grow tired of that movie. Brandon Lee will remain immortal thanks to that film.

*smirk* @ BOFH's mention of genuine humor. Lazzy loves to randomly quote a line from that movie at the most unusual times:

"CAW! CAW! BANG! FUCK! I'M DEAD!"

can't..... resist.......

"Suddenly I heard a tapping, as of someone gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door."

*Brushes glass from shoulder*

"You heard me rapping right?"

Edit And I defy anyone watching that film not to get chills the first time Eric Draven is seen in the full crow makeup in front of the broken window with Burn by The Cure playing....

Gosh, this is a toughie for me to pick just one. If I had to pick one all time favorite movie, I would probably have to say Forrest Gump. I just love how Tom Hanks played Forrest, and how Forrest's life was incorporated into important events in history. It was a brave story of a man who, despite being given a disability by God, overcame to become a soldier, businessman, husband, and single father. I loved the storyline, and how Hanks played the character. It was just a brilliant film, with an incredible acting performance by Hanks.

I loved Rocky. Not only because I love boxing, but the whole idea. A man who has a million to one shot to beat the champ and he goes the distance while knocking him down in the process. It's a movie that truly inspired me and I totally related to b/c I felt like I was always fighting those odds during my childhood.

only one?

I have a few faveorites, but if I have to choose just the one I would go for Star Wars. When you consider the year it was made, the story, the effects, and the fact that it almost had a cast of unknowns. It just makes the film a classic.

Fredo, you're my older brother. And I love you. But don't ever take sides with anyone against the family again. Ever.

I've seen it countless numbers of times since 1972, and will no doubt see it countless times more. I like GF1 a lot better than GF2, although the second one I appreciate a lot more than I did when it came out. The third one I only saw once, with one of my best friends. I hated Godfather III so much, I refuse to ever see it again. The first one, though, is my favorite. It was also one of my favorite novels. Mario Puzo had a great gift, and it's one that I've tried to emulate at times.

I liked Seven, because that movie spawned more debate than any I have ever watched. If you were Brad Pitt, would you have shot Kevin Spacey to complete the Seven Deadly Sins? some people are talking about it to this day. It was amazing how someone could have the patience and time to slowly and methodically kill 6 people, without leaving a mark. Classic stuff😀

yeah i've heard that one is another classic serial killer/mind games type of movie. i can't find it no where in our local video stores though! so i will proble have to end up buying it on Dvd or through Ebay.

"Seven" is freaking awesome and sits very comfortably in my #2 favorite movie position. In fact, I was going to reply to this thread originally with "Seven" as my answer, until I was reminded by BOFH of "The Crow". If you've not seen it yet though, I highly recommend it. Very graphic, very intense, non-stop from start to finish. It blows your mind.

i can't explain it really, but my favorite movie is Superman (the first one)...it's not because of recent circumstances...it just has been my favorite movie. probably has something to do with it being one of the first movies i remember seeing (on television, don't think i was born when it came into theaters...if i was, i would've been that annoying baby screaming in the back😉 ) and chris reeve was my first crush.

Yeah, its a cool movie. I am surprised no one has tried it in real life😀

*Note to self* try killing 7 people and get away with it with out leaving no marks unseen and unkown 😀

yeah i will have to get a copy of it. it sounds like my kind of movie that i would enjoy

OK, both "Se7en" and "The Crow" are freaking awesome movies. And I am SO mad i can only pick ONE movie, because my favorite spot is a tie. I just can't make up my mind between "Chasing Amy" and "True Romance." But if I had to pick one, I'd go with "True Romance." Well, today. It might change tomorrow. or in 5 minutes. lol
