Howdy again. Time for another thought provoking idea to spawn. So basicly, what is the first memory you can recall?

(Note: What I state is not a sign of insanity and is probably the first time this has ever been said in History. So record this page for the future, I guess).

Okay so i'm guessing you probably think my first memory i'm going to say is the doctor spanking me, my mother, or playing with a stuffed tiger. Well no. I actually have a memory further back than any of that...which has haunted me since it had happen. I remember the point in time which I became aware of my existance.

And I don't mean like sometime years later going through some crisis, I mean the exact moment between nonexistance and existance. I don't believe anyone is suppose to remember this memory...and it's obvious since i've never read, heared or even imagine the concept before by anyone else. (Maybe some scientist but none I know to my knowledge). I could never discribe to you in any words in our diction what it actually feels like. But it's nothing like dreaming, sleep or being unconcious. In fact it's the scariest thing I absolutely fear. Not pain, death or Hell could strike as much fear in me as nonexistance.

Again, i'm not insane...this is my first memory. I couldn't make it up if I could try. (and no one has ever spoken about this, so don't go looking in google. You'll mostly get anti-religious stuff.)

Hmmm...that is frightening...but why is it frightening?

My first memory by the way is for some reason being in a car rolling off a cliff...I don't know why, it just is.

Tobi has shorter memory, because of his lack of attention, but Tobi remembers himself being 3 and chasing teenage girls to tickle them... What a crazy kid was Tobi back then...
Also Timewarp don't fear nonexistence. Tobi had three life or death cases and each time he visited different place, Heaven, Oblivion and Hell. Hell was fine, a little too warm that time of year, but Oblivion was interesting also... and no Tobi is not a junky... he is a religious fanatic who takes pills from strangers... thank you...

My earliest memory goes back to age 3. It was Sunday Morning, and Church was over. I remember standing and looking up and seeing Everett Baldwin (an older man in the church and great man of God) and saying hello to him. Then, I swear, the next thought in my head was 'How did I know he was Everett?' Then Mom and Dad called my over to them so we could leave and I had that same thought all day about Mom, Dad, my brother and everyone else I saw that day.

Weird, but those are my earliest memories...

My earliest memory is being fed from a baby bottle in a room with curtains and wooden furniture, which would have been considered rare luxuries in rural Cambodia at the time.

the hollywood brother is not sure of his first real memory but thinks it is around age 3 or so

my first memory..... crystal clear to this day....

The day before Valentine's day in 1989, i was 4 and eating a big breakfast with my mom and father, when my father succumbed to the effects of a blood clot to the heart (i forgot what they call it these days) and i remember running and crying to the couch, where i'd always bury my head when i was afraid. i'll never forget.

on a side note, my father died at 11:32 p.m. just minutes before valentines day, just 30 minutes after bragging to the doctor of how such a great son i am.

don't mean to bring a wave of depression into the thread, but that's my first memory. never did have a good early childhood.

.....Ooooohhh...Mistressvalerie was a wealthy giiiiiiiiiiiirrl....

I can barely remember yesterday or this morning. I think my early memories include building our big barn behind the house. I would have been 5 or 6 at the time. Either that or fishing with my granddad when I was really young. Also riding in front of my dad on the horses. Those are a few.

My sense of time is terrible, and my memories end up wound together in a jumbled mess like a ball of overcooked protein. I remember a lot of early stuff, usually at around 4. Where should I begin... I remember the three instances of family members babysitting me at my house.

I remember waking up in the middle of the night, terrified because a dull red light from outside (like the color of tail lights) tinted my whole room and someone outside was screaming angrily about who knows what. Too scared to look out the window that night I never did find out what had gone on.

I remember being chained (like one of those thin chains people wear as belts) so tightly to a chair by the kids at my day care as part of a game that I had trouble breathing and I panicked.

I remember sitting in the grass and watching a bees nest until the adult watching us came outside with a kettle and destroyed the nest with boiling water, getting me stung 9 times in the process.

I remember feeding a caterpillar that glow in the dark Gak they had for a while and seeing it actually glow in the dark (that one was a pretty wierd experience).

I remember finding a small swiss army knife on the way to school once, and my sister taking it away from me (for safety reasons, I was headed to kindergarten!).

I remember being walked by my mom to day care (I spent a lot of time there, both parents have full time jobs, and I was a mischievous child) really early in the morning, on the same day that I learned of the birth of someone who would later me my friend (I was likely not quite 3 based on our current ages) and seeing a man laying face down in his driveway. I just pointed and said "Hey look, a dead guy". It worries me now how unperturbed I was by this. My mother's first reaction was (other than being visibly shaken) to attempt and convince her children that he was "just sleeping", but I knew. After maybe a minute she told me to run home, wake up my father, and have him call the police or an ambulance or something (that's about where that particular memory ends. What bothers me even more is that I only found out about 3 years ago that the man was my neighbor and that he had died from a heart attack on the way back from church that morning.

I remember everyone being upset that my grandfather had died of an aneurysm. I had no idea how to act or what to say. My biggest concern was wanting to comfort the people around me, and not knowing how to do it. I ended up not speaking unless spoken to for at least a month.

Probably most of all, I remember the taste of my mom's homemade pizza. Thick Sicilian style crust with tons of thick pizza sauce all over it, and just enough cheese (I developed a taste for pizza sauce because of this, and anything less than a lot seems like too little). I swear sometimes I wonder if my metabolism kicked itself up a few notches just so I could justify eating more of that pizza...

Which of these was the earliest? I have no clue. Every single one of my specific childhood memories seem to feel like they were from the age of 4, even though I am absolutely positive that cannot be the case.

Bit of a strange one this, as I was actually in a car accident when I was 7. (I say in a car accident, what I really meant was caused a car accident. Ran out into a busy road, happened to be in front of a car. Stupid child I was).

I remember being fully conscious in hospital (after a 2 week coma, I've been told) and seing a group of doctors at the end of my bed. They asked me If I'd like to go home, and being a 7 year old boy who'd been confined to my bed for as far back as I remember, I was quite keen to get going, so I said yes. As far as I can tell, it was later that day that my parents came and picked me up, and I just remember getting home and feeling as though I'd never been there before.

Strange times.

I remember being in my cot sometime in 1989 and banging on the wooden bars and screaming to be let out. 😛 I was a moody bastard at times.

I can remember crawling around my house in Georgia when I was maybe 2 (remember, I never did 'learn' to walk😛) and seeing the bizzarre diamond yellow and maroon pattern on the diningroom floor underneath me--pure 80's goodness😛

I have vague memories of where I lived around the age of 3. We lived in a real nice house in Pulaski Heights back then and only moved right before I turned 4 to get a bigger place because my parents were getting another child; my sister. I remember playing in the little driveway we had with my toy car, the kind that you work like the Flintstones had to.

The strangest memory involved walking down the street at night with no one around, but I was probably just going next door to my aunt and uncle's place.

My fondest memories involve being in the attic. I absolutely loved it up there with all the weird things I never got to see normally, and the boxes, and looking out the louvred window at the street below.

I also remember being at my cousin's place once when I was super little. She had a massive collection of My Little Ponies, and I thought it was really weird that she said "teetee" instead of "peepee" when I said I needed to go to the bathroom.
