Can you remember a certain costume that stuck in your head longer than others? I know that for some of you, well most of you, it wasn't that long ago lol..but there are adult parties also....i can remember however a costume i wore as a child..i wore a torquoise dress of my mom's that she had fixed up as a flapper dress with fringe for a party, we enhanced it to look like an American Indian female..painted my face..had a headband with a feather..and to make the costume unique at that time..and in fact i won for best originality that year in the girl scouts...a babydoll strapped to my back, complete with her own little headband and feather...

in my last year at college my hubby and i went to a party as Harpo and Groucho Marx...he was Groucho and i was Harpo..and i drove everyone nuts with the horn thingie i used...

what was yours?

Let's see.....

well, back in the 80s there used to be an advertisement for Budweiser beer with a character that looked like a superhero called "Budman". He had light blue pants, red shirt, blue cape and gloves, viser sunglasses.

Well, I had a pair of light blue sweat pants. I happened to find some matching fabric, and used it for a cape. Got a red sweat shrit, and had "Bud Man" ironed onto it, and wore some light blue gloves I found.

Hmmm my most memorable was a rediculously oversized one I wore to my 6th grade Halloween party. The best part was seeing the faces of terror from the Kindergarteners lol XD

And here it is:

im always a pirate original. woot. i make my own costume with limited help from places like Party City. just today i actually was out there with some friends and saw a really cool pirate cap/bandana/skull cap type thingy. and i got it! so, it should tie in pretty well for this year. but. cant say im too happy that i actually had to buy something. (well, didnt have to, but it sure does look cool!)

Ahhh.....I don't have a favorite, I loved trick or treating around my grandmother's old neighborhood and then returning to sit in front of the fire that was going in the fireplace and comparing candy with my younger cousins and we would swap candy a lot of times.....

For a Cub Scout party, my Mom made a robot costume for me modeled off the box for a robot shaped shampoo dispenser from Avon. She made it completely out of grocery bags and spent all day on it. Will never forget the hard work she put into it...

Tonight, I'm going out to some halloween parties dressed as a whoopie cushion!!! WOOOT!!!!

I'm on a budget this year, so I put on a green sweatshirt, green pants, black boots, rings on all fingers, green earrings, a gold chain, and a giant faux emerald pendant. I wore my read hair down and spoke in in Irish accent all day, calling myself a leprechaun (pronounced lep-re-corn, people---don't westernize EVERYthing XD)
