in regards to a recent thread argument i would like to know everyones top ten wrestlers of all time and if you like them and why you think they deserve to be the top ten best.

Number 1... The Icon Sting......(love him) for years this guy has pulled off moves and done the biggest things in wrestling and has adapted over the times,,,,, from his power lifting high flying days to his technical wrestling the man continues to impress.... he has wrestled pretty much everyone and since we know its scripted has put on a great show in doing it.

Number 2. Hulk hollywood hogan....(dont like him) this guy didnt create wrestling he just perfected it... everyone loved him as a face and he is responsible for the great heel turn of all time (dont try to argue this that one turn changed the sport forever) he also had the chrisma

number 3. The nature Boy ric flair (like him) WOOOOOHHOOOO maybe some of you all never saw wcw in the 90s but this man had attitude. humor and just went out and preformed. he truly likes what he does and you can tell it in the ring... people who stay in a business so long dont stay there because they are bad at it they stay there cause they good at it. like the last two this guy headlined arenas through out the world causing sell outs.

number 4. The heartbreak kid shawn michaels (like him) the show stopper... this guy like sting also adapted well. from a high flyer to a very good technical wrestler. he also wanted to preform and always went out there and gave it his best

Number 5. The undertanker (like him) with the right outfit and the character mark has made himself a legend. he is the best big man of all time in my opinioin, agile, poweful, and cunning. he also has done a great job of being very adaptive.....

Number 6.... The macho man randy savage (like him) savage was a great wrestler who really defined madness..... he was probably they first true person to cut into the attitude era

Number 7 rodey piper (love him) this guy was just excellent in all shapes and forms..... came out and cut awesome promos and did a great job in ring

number 8. andre the giant (like him) the first true big name in wrestling that crossed over into other mainstream media.

Number 9 Scott Hall (like him) scott hall barely makes this list but could have gone as high as 4th..... great talent, very funny, great promo's... to bad he cant put down the bottle.

Number 10 booker T.... (like him) man this guy is one of the greatest tag team and single wrestlers ever. he always puts on a great show. i hate his king booker angle.... but i love his new york street fight attitude

In no particular order:

Brian Pillman: Light years ahead of his time in ringstyle and character. The loose cannon character in ECW and WCW was especially awesome, if Pillman had still been around for the attitude era he would have been off the scale. A major figure in cruiser weight wrestling.

Jake Roberts: A master class in ring psychology and character whenever you watched him. His heel run against the Ultimate Warrior and Macho Man is still one of the best heel characters of all time. Shame the road he ended taking, he could have achieved much more.

Ric Flair: The whole package in ringwork and promo's, probably one of the best to ever do it.

Dynamite kid: In my opinion the UK's best and again was light years ahead of his time in ring style. Another sad story in terms of present day.

Steve Austin: My favourite era of his was late 96 to summer of 97 before the first neck injury. The feud with Bret is up there as one of the greats, I think Austin then demonstarted just how much ECW had changed the industry and wrestling as a whole had changed. Getting behind the guy they were telling you to hate was awesome at the time.

Sabu: More for the ECW run and the craziness he used to do

Jushin Liger: Greatest crusier weight ever, nuff said. Best entrance music ever.

Eddie Guerrero: Gone but not forgotten, left us to soon.

Mitsuharu Misawa: You haven't lived until you've seen his matches with Toshiaki Kawada, never seen a crowd go so ballistic for near falls.

Raven: Loved the ECW and WCW runs best, admittedly it was a bit downhill from there but I always liked the character and his microphone work.
