Dena Schlosser, 35, cut off the arms of her 11-month-old baby then confessed to a 911 operator. The baby died shortly after being taken to the hospital. Schlosser had a history of postpartum depression, but was never violent and was described by neighbors as a loving mother. Officials who arrived at the scene found the mother sitting in the living room covered in blood. Schlosser is being charged with capital murder

I saw that on the news. No matter the reason, that's sick.

City man faces charge of having sex with dog
Wednesday, December 01, 2004
By Jim O'Hara

A Syracuse man already facing charges he endangered his young daughter by letting her wander away from home this summer is now facing a charge that he engaged in sex with a family pet last week.

Michael Leffler, 27, of West Kennedy Street, was arraigned Friday before City Judge Kevin Young on a misdemeanor charge of sexual misconduct. He was accused of engaging in a sex act with one of his mother's three dogs while he and his wife were dog-sitting the pets in their home. According to officials, Leffler's wife called the police after catching her husband with the dog, a short-haired terrier-beagle mix named Gin-Gin, in their bedroom shortly after 1 a.m. Friday.

Young allowed Leffler to be released to the probation department's Pre-Trial Release Program and adjourned the case to Dec. 13. Leffler also will be in court that day on misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of a child filed against him after police found his 3-year-old daughter shortly before 7 p.m. Aug. 20 wandering alone on the street several blocks from where the family then was living on Burnet Avenue.

In bringing the child home, police reported finding two other siblings - ages 6 and 8 - covered with bug bites in filthy living conditions, said Syracuse Police Sgt. Tom Connellan. The endangering counts, also filed against Leffler's wife, Nicole, accuse the pair of letting the 3-year-old wander alone, and of failing to provide a clean and safe living environment for all three children, Connellan said.

Leffler was released by City Judge Kate Rosenthal to the Pre-Trial Release Program after his arraignment in that incident.

I read the story of that lady in the Dallas morning news awhile back. I'd love to hang that woman and kick her body to make it sway back and forth. I'd spit on her while I was at it. No matter, she will burn in hell for all of eternity either way, I only wish I could see her face as she's suffering.

Where exactly did this horrendous crime to this infant take place? I didn't catch it...

All this isn't news to me. It's the fall of man kind as a whole and Sin (it should not be a shock to thoses of you on this board that are Christians)

Fall of mankind? Watch her face as she suffers? Good grief, it's called mental illness, been around forever - and it sucks mightily, no one denys it. This woman was, in fact, a Christian who did it as a sacrafice for God. A week later or so, ANOTHER TX couple entered a church wanting to sacrifice their child, but the police were called and the sacrifice was stopped. For thoses of you on this board that are Christians.

Thats pretty much irrelevant. I'd still love to beat her bloody. Mental illness or no.

The mental insanity case is such a cop out. It nearly eliminates the responsibility these fuckers have for thier own actions. Insane or no, you still killed a baby, and you deserve to die for it.

I don't mean to judge. But thoses cases don't sound thoses people were true Christians. A true Christian would not kill there family or child in the name of God for that matter.

And by the fall of man kind i mean society as a whole. How we have let pretty everything in this world become ok now a days. No right or wrong

I dont claim to be Christian but I have attempted to read the Bible a few times, and watch "Ten Commandments" every year at Easter. Sorry..just threw that in...anyway....ummm...if I remember correctly one of the biggies on that stone tablet was "Thou Shalt Not Kill".

Mob attacks men accused of raping a dog

An enraged mob from Fingo Village in Grahamstown attacked three men on Wednesday after they were accused of gang-raping a dog. The residents were alerted when they heard a dog's agonised howling in a derelict school building. Nomathemba Adam from D Street said she was at home when a friend told her she thought a dog was being killed.

Adam then called the police, but after three calls the police had not arrived because they said there "was no vehicle". She decided to investigate and when she arrived at the building 100m from her house she saw through a window a man "blocking" a dog from going out.

When Adam told a young boy to call the police, a man carrying a rock in his hand rushed out of the building to be followed by a third man just as more people arrived to find out what was happening. A group of residents then started kicking and beating the three men.

According to Adam the last man to leave the building screamed: "I came here to relieve myself. These two were raping the dog when I arrived!" A group of South African National Defence Force officers were alerted and held the three men until the police arrived and arrested them.

Meanwhile, the terrified cross-breed dog, which Adam said belonged to her friend Luleka Nqini, ran out of the building and up D Street. She said the dog, called Masganda, had blood on its vagina and could not use its right hind leg.

Police took the dog to the Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Grahamstown. SPCA manager Yolande Gardner referred the dog to a local veterinarian who examined her. Gardner said yesterday that Masganda was being kept in "safe custody" at the SPCA until the court case was finalised.

She said that only DNA test results could prove whether Masganda was raped by the three men. Nqini told ECN yesterday that the dog was "weak" after the incident.

"I was shocked to hear what had happened to Masganda. What kind of monsters have sex with a dog?" asked Nqini, who added that her family was distraught at what had happened to their pet.

Inspector Mali Govender confirmed yesterday that the three suspects had been arrested and a case of bestiality was being investigated. Govender could not say when the suspects would appear in court. - ECN

ok Dr. Bill you already posted that Mob article once already. You don't need to post it twice in one thread!

- The mental insanity case is such a cop out. It nearly eliminates the responsibility these fuckers have for thier own actions. Insane or no, you still killed a baby, and you deserve to die for it. -

now there's the voice of a true patriot. amen brother, amen. incidentally, lesbians are witches and should be burnt at the stake (a quote from family first, a right wing party in australia)
now, i could make this a copout and abuse you for your inclusion of the guy from American history X with the swastika as you admiring hitler, yada yada yada, you're a nazi. i'm not going to do that. why? because i would like to think that you put it up there not as a nazi-affiliated sign but rather as an admiration for the movies teachings on racial intolerance. but the quote choice? bad mojo, my friend. the whole concept of 'struggle' between ways of life has been the motive force for crimes against humanity in this and last century. but that is beside the point.

- How we have let pretty everything in this world become ok now a days. No right or wrong -

now this i agree with, if not in the same rush-limbaugh-esque manner as it was intended. the devaluation of all values (fuck the 'moral compass') is an intellectually bankrupt ideology, espoused by ignorant pseudo-intellectuals who want to disabuse themselves of all responsibility.

- I'd love to hang that woman and kick her body to make it sway back and forth. I'd spit on her while I was at it. No matter, she will burn in hell for all of eternity either way, I only wish I could see her face as she's suffering. -

i'm sorry, that's fucking perverse. that's brutal revenge-fantasist shit. i dont even care if you're joking. the only way to avoid relapsing into barbarism is denying these urges. orbalancing them, i don't even know anymore. i've just finished a course on genocide in the 20th century, and what scares me is seeing the same attitudes as you held enacted by the perpetrators of genocide for perceived injustices by the victim group. the line between thought and action is a thin one (as the story of the woman and her baby shows).

the key issue we have to see here is 'can this woman be redeemed?'. Jugner had it right - her actions are sick. she is a sick woman. can we cure her? is she a product of society, as

bloodmoondoll said: A true Christian would not kill there family or child in the name of God for that matter.

ever heard of Abraham and Isaac? or don't they include that in the illustrated children's bible?

- she will burn in hell for all of eternity either way, I only wish I could see her face as she's suffering. -

again: creeepy. heck, i wish there was a hell, just so criminals could get their comeuppance. of course, original sin would mean we're pretty much all fucked anyway. i wonder if Jesus would have forgiven the woman?

now, don't get me wrong, what she did was wrong, horrific, criminal. i don't intend to defend her. what i am against is the knee-jerk reactions of the judeo-christian community (filthy capitalist ursurers that they are, LOL)

personally though, as long as the dog was a consenting adult, ain't nuthing wrong with man-dog love (heheheeehahahaaaaaHAHAAAAAHA.....)

-excuse me, please, i'm a little mad: you have to be, these days...

Getae Adoni! that whole previous post: ignore it. what was i thinking? if you will excuse me, i need sleep.

Fuck that. You couldn't pay me enough to ignore the best goddam post on this site all year! Well spoken, sir!

I think maybe if we were more brutal in our ways of punishment and control maybe we wouldn't have all the problems we have today. You can make people do anything if they are afraid. Yea, Jesus would have forgiven her, but im not Jesus, and I don't claim to be. He will forgive me after I skull fuck her. And thats what I'd like to do, there is no defense for this woman. She murdered a child.

Okay, this thread is getting interesting.........

Aussie, I'm trying to figure out your post. I'm not sure if I understand it, but I'm going to give it a shot of a comment. If I'm wrong, it wouldn't be the first time.

I totally disagree with what this woman did, but I have personally gone through a terrible bout of postpartum depression with my youngest child. I would sleep for about two hours a night and was working a full-time job. Her father believed that taking care of babies was a woman's responsibility, so I got no support or help with any of the household duties plus I had my oldest child (who was disabled) to take care of.

I used to hallucinate about killing my daughter. First time I dreamed about dressing her up and drowning her in the bathtub. The intensity of hallucinations increased until I dreamed I threw her so hard into the cocktail table that I broke it. When I woke up from that dream, she was in my arms and I had put her in her bassinette prior to going to sleep. I had gotten up in my sleep and if not for the grace of God Himself, I would've killed my own child. After that, I wouldn't allow myself to be alone with her until I got some help. I wasn't able to get help for two years because the medical community didn't take me seriously. Untreated postpartum depression can lead to death of that child if not treated. It should be treated as a form of mental illness and doctors should be more cautious of looking for signs of it.

I have no excuses to give this woman for what she did-she should've gotten herself some help. Where was her husband and family? Can you really tell me no one noticed? I had to shake myself and get the help I needed on my own, but that was 15 years ago. Nowadays, this condition is more prevalent and more treatment is available.

I'm not going to get into your religious views because it's very plain that they don't coincide with my spiritual views. Although society will never forgive what she's done, God will forgive her. I have no religious soapbox to stand on but I know what my "judeo-Christian" values are and stand by them 1000%. I don't see Christians as "filthy capitalist usurers" and find this comment blatently offensive in that respect (or lack of). You're lumping a group of people into one box, not everyone is the same because they belong to a certain faith. If you're atheist or agnostic, I think it's an incorrect position to take, but you are within your right to do it, and it's not my right to judge you for it. I believe you should show the same respect.

An educated legal opinion stated in the Dallas Morning News in 2003 after the woman who smashed her children's heads with rocks for God stated that in TX the insanity defense is used statewide in about 1% of cases, and is successful less than half the time. That means the "cop out excuse" is the cop out. Crazy people aren't getting away with anything. I mean, kid snuffers for Krishna aren't really get a free walk, and then going out to do it again in ever-increasing numbers. The state does more preventative maintainace on material things such as buses than on mentally defective people. We don't get the humane privilege (as the Salvation Army views good works) to use our tax money saving the mentally damaged, we just get the pragmatic burden of Johnny-come-lately stepping in and putting them away when said damage overtook them and someone else's life ended.

Frankly, I'm not sure what's so special about a baby more so than say... any of us here, people already doing stuff here and now, making our way in the world, trying to be good folks and stay out of trouble. That's always rubbed me the wrong way. Told to stay out of the adult's way as a kid.... now as an adult I'm supposed to bow down to the crib. Somewhere I missed my own parade!

Here's a link with more in depth info on the story.:

http://cnn.netscape.cnn.com/news/st...ff/story/0001/20041206/0840778171.htm&sc=1110

A past history of abnormal brain fluid since childhood! No health insurance as an adult! Listening to 60 hrs a week to sermons from a preacher who quit being a veterinarian when God told him that the Catholic, Baptist, and Methodist churches are cults! How does mental derangement NOT come from a situation like this? No one's saying this was a good thing the woman did. Put her away, kill her even; I'm fine with that. I fully approve of protecting society and understand too well the idea of revenge. But it's the smugness of "good people" who are so self assured of their own prideful goodness that's so distasteful, even though they are potentially only one malfunctioning duct away from their own mental roller coaster. I have absolutely no doubt from reading her posts over the last year or two that Kis is a truly good person - and even this poor lady struggled with the darker side of this issue, thankfully coming through it. She has a lot to be proud of, yet is not "prideful". See the distinction?

Now, that woman in Florida who just ran over 2 kids for accidentally hitting her SUV with a golf ball (which they apologized for...) - that's someone for whom righteous indignation was tailor made. But I bet her SUV was in good working order with all it's state required documentation in order.

I know firsthand how the mentally ill are dealt with in this country. If they don't have someone who will advocate on their behalf, they will fall through the cracks until they do something terribly wrong. Then, we'll jail them, and depending on the severity of the offense, kill them. We don't worry about diagnosis or treatment until they do something to get them put into the system.

Many of you already know my son is autistic with some mental health issues. He is now a very happy, well-adjusted 19 year old. From the ages 13-17, he wasn't so nice. Adolescence wasn't very kind to him. I couldn't get him help until he got himself in trouble with the law and ended up in juvenille court. Even then, because of the mental disabilities, the court just wanted to send him back home with me. If the court system didn't have resources to help him, what in the hell did they think I was going to do? It took four years and a lot of self-destructive behavior to convice everyone that my son was sick, not the result of poor parenting. Now, if you want to talk about cop-outs, I can write a book on how agencies use that excuse to blow off stressed-out, burned-out parents who had good children who turned bad in their teens. I had to tell them that if they didn't do something, I was going to move while he was at school, then they'd be forced to do something for an abandoned child, wouldn't they? And I wasn't kidding because my family couldn't take any more. I sent my daughter to live with her father because she was beginning to resent her brother and said she hated him. I know she didn't mean it, but she was hurting. I couldn't work for two years because I would get phone calls from the school, or he ran away, or was caught stealing (obsessive-compulsive behavior; another form of mental illness). Society does nothing until they get offended, then they just want to lock them all up and throw away the key.

Oddjob, as far as your "crib" comment was concerned, maybe I can address it. Babies are innocent little people who haven't done anything to deserve abuse. They didn't offend the perpetrator, they haven't lived on the earth long enough to do anything to deserve nothing but unconditional love. Crimes against babies and children are always going to be considered especially heinous in this society. I hope this explanation helps. There are some people who needed to come on this earth sterilized-that way this kind of crap couldn't happen!

I have been in several churches throughout my lifetime, and never once had anyone say we should murder our children as sacrifices to God. Even in the bible with Abraham and Isaac, God provided a ram in the bush for the sacrifice, not a child. People read a couple of scriptures in the bible and build an entire religion around it. This is right up there with the religion who plays with snakes and poisions because the bible states that as Christians, these things won't harm you. That doesn't mean you go around playing with snakes and drinking poisions. It means, that if it does happen (and I do mean "if"), God can protect you from their harm. This has nothing to do with religion and has everything to do with stupidity! God gave us common sense for a reason, some people should try using it!

Sorry for the long post, I'll try to shorten the next one.

Student Says God Told Him to Kill Parents

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - A college student who admitted he fatally shot his parents in their bedroom and broke a chain saw cutting up their bodies told investigators: "God told me to.''

Philip Badowski made the comment in a recorded interview with police following the Dec. 2 slayings of Chester "Chet'' Badowski Jr., 47, and Christine Badowski, 46. Prosecutors played the recording at Badowski's preliminary hearing Friday.

General Sessions Court Judge Bob Moon referred two murder and abuse of corpse charges to a grand jury and ordered Badowski held without bail. Lawyers for both sides declined to comment after the hearing.

Badowski, 22, a student at Chattanooga State Technical Community College, sobbed at times during the recorded interview and at one point asked: "I'm not dreaming this whole thing, am I?''

He said the killings were "spur of the moment'' after his parents scolded him when they returned from a weeklong mission trip to Haiti, where they volunteered drilling wells.

"I was pretty mad for what they were saying. They were cussing and calling me bad names because I had some friends over while they were out of town,'' he said in the interview.

Badowski told police he shot his father with a rifle, then struggled with his mother and struck her with the gun before shooting her in the head.

He said he tried to dismember their bodies with a chain saw, but it broke.

Investigators went to the house to check on the couple after they failed to show up at their jobs. Badowski told police that his parents were out of town, but officers unlocked a bedroom door and found the bodies, according to the police report.

Christine Badowski had been decapitated and her arms and legs were cut off, investigators said. Chet Badowski's legs had been cut before the saw broke.

Dr. Bill provides yet again another example of God getting the blame for someone's criminal and morally bottomless behavior. God sometimes gets a terrible rap for the behavior others choose to commit.

God gives us the power of choice. He lets us choose whether we believe He exists or not. He lets us choose if we follow His way of living via biblical principles. He lets us choose whether we make right or wrong decisions and He allows us to live with the consequences of those decisions.

That's enough of my Sunday soapbox.😀
