I'll be honest. For a very good portion of my life, i was a hardcore gamer. What does that mean? It means that if a game was part of a series, I would by the next in line of that game so I could continue the story. Even if that story wasn't directly related to the previous game, i would buy it. Why? Because it was part of the series.
I couldn't alays do this though, because I'm not made of money or time. I can't spend forever playing a game, or contantly spend money to buy new games, and in some instances, buy a new gaming system to play that game.
The Youtube came allong, and with it, game wakthroughs. While some of them unfortionatly have the gamer talking through the entire thing (seriously guys, shut the fuck up. We aren't watching to hear you blab about the game. If you want to do that give a quick game review, then shut the fuck up.) some do not, and they allow us gamers to see the story of the game and watch it almost like an interactive book. We are allowed to see what happens in the game without having to buy or playthrough the game. While it can tae some time, it probably takes less time then playing through the game yourself.
So, here's to you, youtube!
