I had to go shopping today after being in for a few days due to the storm.
On my way home from the market, I had something happen to me that was almost identical to what happened last April when I cut my face open.
It was sheer luck that someone was there to help me to prevent my falling.
My town has a lot of jagged edge streets.
As I'm wheeling my cart along, I was trying to avoid ice and snow in a very narrow pathway they had cleared. I guess with the more than a foot of snow that we had, there may not have been a place to put it.
I was trying to wheel my cart up a jagged edge curb, when suddenly , the whole cart gave way and toppled backwards. As I was trying to avoid the cart hitting me, I tripped on the jagged edge street, and fell.
Luckily this time instead of falling on my face like I did last April when I cut my face open and it took weeks to heal, my hands broke my fall.
Some people came over to help me, which was very nice.
Except for a few scrapes., I got away relatively okay.
I'm a bit sore , but it s not nearly as bad as it could have been.,
