believe me I am not judging anyone, but I just got back from playing basketball with four of my friends and this was one of the few points of my day that stuck out.
one of my best friends is a girl who I have known for about four years now. she is a great person but she has always had one quality that annoys the hell out of me. she dresses sluttier than anyone I've ever known. and the worst part about it is that she makes a concentrated effort towards this endeavor, it seems. I don't typically go out to the clubs with her or her boyfriend or any of her usual crew, but I know that I would be just a little embarrassed by some of the things that she wears when they go out.
there are times when she turns it down a little bit, like when she doesn't have time to run home so she just wears her boyfriend's clothes. but whenever we go to a restaurant I find myself having to avert my eyes from her "display".
tonight's example is an interesting one. to me at least. we go to play basketball and this is the third night in a row that we have gone and she has worn a loincloth to play ball in. obviously it's not really a loincloth but that's about all it covers anyway. these shorts she wears are ridiculous and I can't stand behind her when she's playing defense because I don't want another glimpse at basically her ass hanging out. think of soffe shorts, then roll them up a little, now cut where you rolled and make the material like gauze and you have what she wore. I can easily look away, but I can see everyone else in the entire gym staring at her.
obviously it isn't my place to say what she should wear, but I can only imagine what her boyfriend thinks when she goes out to do these regular everyday tasks and activities dressed like she is. it's her body, I guess she can dress it like she wants.
