FINALLY!
Your friendly neighborhood Adam gets to go back to work again. I'm embarrassed to admit how long it's actually been, though I know I'm not the only person who has been in this position. Granted, this isn't a place that is going to turn into a career. It's a bit of an odd schedule. I'll be working 7 hour days as opposed to 8, and will only be there 3-4 times a week depending on need. I also have no idea whether or not it's a long-term position, as it is a temp job and I've heard nothing about it being temp-to-hire. But hey, it's a paycheck and is better than watching my savings dwindle and wonder how I'm going to make it.
This schedule also opens up the possibility of my being able to take a class or two, which I've been wanting to do forever in order to increase my career options. That is if it's temp-to-hire, naturally. We shall see. Right now I'm just happy to know that, starting tomorrow morning, I'll be doing something productive again. And I'll still be home early enough to screw with all of you a bit. 😀 Wish me luck!
