Attack of the Fangirl

Well, I've changed my major for the last time and it's official. I'll be majoring in K-12 World Language Education. 😀 I'm shooting for a B.S. in Spanish, German, Latin, and Japanese. Wow...after so much searching it seems I've finally found my passion. I didn't really want to immerse myself in just one language, so knowing a bit of this and a bit of that works just fine for me. So yeah, no Ph.D, but I'll definitely be getting a Master's Degree so my teaching license will be permanent. I looked at all the job listings for higher education faculty and if I was gonna specialize in one language with the intention of teaching at a university, I'd probably have to move to a different state! 😱 Maybe even as far away as California or New York. 😵 It'll now be so much easier to find a job when I'm fresh out of college if it's freakin' K-12. So yeah, I'm really excited about my major now. 😀

OH, and since I'm such a Xena nerd, I've actually made myself a little binder full of my favorite Xena fanfiction. XD I even decorated it with my favorite X/G pictures. My mom calls it my "flaming binder" since the cover picture features Xena looking seductively at Gabrielle over a waterfall with a rainbow. Flaming indeed...

And it looks like I won't have to go to classes all of next week since I'll be off for spring break. 😀 Which means that tomorrow is my last class for 12 days! I certainly cannot wait for that. This'll give me time to figure out how my new digital camera works. XD
