Today I'm going to get my blood pressure checked. It's a regularly scheduled appointment, made before we learned of my mom's cancer. I haven't been to the Dr to get my BP checked in almost a year, since last April 15, partially because of money, and the fact that I have no health insurance, and partially because I didn't want to go, because I was feeling stress due to seeing my father. I remember when I used to get myself agitated weeks before my BP checks, saying things like "OMG ,I'm going to the Dr to get my bp checked, it sucks". Now, it doesn't even seem to matter. The only thing that matters is my mom, and her treatment.
I hope the BP check goes well today, so I'll have one less thing to worry about. My weight today on my scale was 173.6 lbs, so I doubt I'll be too overweight. Hopefully all will be okay.
