I just got home from a long,brisk walk through the desolate streets of Troy,NY and still have some energy to burn off so I decided to post some random thoughts to the blog.My previous post was intended to be my last of 2011 but I'll squeeze in one more. I got home from the gym earlier today and found it strange that I was still bursting at the seems with energy.Then I thought to myself hmmm,maybe it has something to do with the two monster light and sweet coffees that I swilled down earlier.Those things are fantastic in moderation but I tend to drink more than I should. 
This past week I put together my third video and it's probably my best as far as the actual consistancy of photo flow with the musical rhythm.I didn't realize until this past week about all of the options as far as editing and manipulating the photos.That really opens the door to so many more possibilties for future projects.I was amazed at all of the stuff you can do but in a way I felt like it was cheating.After thinking about it I figured that most photos floating around are probably adjusted and fine tuned to ones liking.Initially I was just going to take a bunch of my photos,get crazy with the colors and such and then throw something together.Then I chose a song and I'm like yo,if I'm going to use this song I gotta make this shit hot.This is a wicked good song and it deserves the proper amount of effort.So I selected some better pics and got completely ridiculous with the editing options.I'm color blind too which made this particular video even more fun to put together.

On another note,I saw one of my old friends today.I'm driving down Third Street when he saw me and then he pulled me over.He's a police officer here in the city and still funny to say that.Him and I got in so much trouble when we were younger and for that reason it's kind of ironic that he became a cop. I'm sure he's the kind of cop who's always one step ahead of the perps,he just knows.Even though we both drifted our own ways in life over time,I still trust that dude more than anyone else on this planet and it's probably the same for him.It's funny seeing him right now because I was just thinking about him wilth the holiday's approaching.When we were young our family situations were both kind of fucked up and come the holidays we found ourselves usually chilling in the streets somewhere.Hanging in bus stops,laundromats or wherever just to keep kinda warm,the life.It was nice seeing him today and I'm glad that things are going well for him,no doubt.I'll post this next song in thinking of him and growing up the way we did.This was one of our jams back in the day....

So I was out walking the other day and came across this thing.....

I come around the corner and it's looking me,I'm looking at it and we're both probably thinking WTF are you looking at?...lol...At first I thought it was a chicken because it looked like one the way it was sitting.I'm like why the fuck is there a chicken just randomly chillin' on this hill.Obviously after a few seconds of looking at it I'm like dude it's not a chicken.The enormity of this bird was something to behold.I'm like damn,if this bird comes my way I'm going to have one hell of a time trying to swat this mother fucker.
Well,I'm about to get my Christmas Eve started.I'm going to take a couple painkillers,grab my blanket and melt into my couch while I watch Alice in Chains Unplugged.For the past month I have been consistantly drinking this kava tea and I gotta tell ya,it's really mellowed me out.It tastes damn good too. 🙂 I'll close this post with some lyrical quotes that have been stuck in my brain as of late and also a touch of music.
