Today was a very special day indeed...it just so happened to be the 2 year anniversary of Hey!Say!JUMP, the world's greatest j-pop boy band!
Can I get a w00t w00t?
The name Hey!Say! is a pun on the fact that all 10 boys of this group were born in the Heisei era of Japan. And JUMP stands for Johnny's Ultra Music Power (Johnny Kitagawa is the man who runs their male idol agency, Johnny's Entertainment). HSJ consists of two sub-groups, Hey!Say!7 and Hey!Say!BEST. 7 is the 5 younger ones and BEST (stands for Boys Excellent Select Team) is the older ones.
The boys are (from youngest to oldest): Ryutaro Morimoto, Yuuri Chinen, Ryosuke Yamada, Yuto Nakajima, Keito Okamoto, Daiki Arioka, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome, Yuya Takaki, and Kota Yabu!
So yeah...way to go, JUMP for staying strong for two years!
I wuvvles you...and if I wasn't a lesbian, I'd marry each and every one of you and become a polygamist.
The video of the now will, of course, be tributes to HSJ.
The 1st one will be when the little cuties first debuted at Yokohama Arena back in 2007. It shows them introducing themselves and then performing their debut song "UMP" (Ultra Music Power)...d'aww, I
it when they still had their chipmunk voices:

The 2nd one will be their "Your Seed" PV. This song was used in the Japanese version of Kung Fu Panda last year. ^^ I like watching them dance around in sync like a marching band. XD

And here they are performing one of my favorite songs, "Shin-Gi-Tai"...it means something like Mind, Body, Technique.

LOL @ Ryutaro's fail at 1:14. XD But he recovered pretty quickly.
Okay, so I guess that wraps up this JUMP-filled entry. Tomorrow is Friday! Yay! 8D
Sayonara, amigos!
Current Mood: pensive
