I hear you. One of my fillings fell out last night and it's going to cost me 1800 dollars to get it repaired.

Jesus Christ. I'm just throwing a bandaid on that shit and calling it a day.

I think they have this super gross human glue that you're supposed to put on deep cuts in place of stitches. I can't quite get my head around the idea of filling myself up with some Elmer's, but if the bandaid doesn't work ya might wanna give it a try.

I have actually been keeping it clean and tightly wrapped with gauze and tape. At work, I wrap the bandage with plastic wrap, or cut one finger off a plastic glove and tape that around it to keep everything off it. It's healing pretty well so far. HDS told me about some stuff called "steristrips" or something, which can be used to keep a deeper cut closed and clean in the place of stitches, but doesn't look like I'll be needing those, thankfully.

If you cut yourself at work, they should pay for the stitches. I did the same thing working at a sub shop when I was 17 and I had to go to the ER and get stitches. The bill got sent to the shop - workman's comp pays for it. Get it looked at ASAP!
