Just your average week of fun and games. I'm all set for NEST and have my room reserved.....not the king bed I wanted but the two room double beds in the suite. This means more decissions to make when I arrive, or not. I'll just fall into the first bed I come to after the 12 hour drive. After a few hours sleep and a little dinner I'll move toward the sacred watering hole and visit the other early arrivals Thursday evening. This should be a lot of fun. Amnesiac is already scheduled to be neutered by Mistress Aura in the main event and I see that SnailShell has just joined him in the shitter with an interesting photo manipulation he came up with involving Bellarissa and Glamorous. Oh well, I suppose there may still be job opportunities for eunichs in Dubia.
Late Friday afternoon we sent an employee to the hospital via ambulance. Something hit him like a ton of bricks leaving him disoriented and weak as a kitten. He had no arm or chest pain but was very confused and we didn't waste time in case he was having a stroke. I'll find out more Monday from the head of the department.
Back to NEST, I have a few things in place to help with the fun and games for that weekend. No, not another t-shirt campagn as a joke for certain members attending like last year but these items are one of a kind and actually quite thoughtful.I had help from several artists in the TMF so nothing of my design will be seen this year. Ok, there is one gag gift to present so timing will be crutial but not impossible. I am looking forward to that weekend when all accounts are settled for the year, of course new outrages are begun too. This is the nature of the beast when so many friends get together. Practical jokes abound and no one is safe. All in good fun and not to be missed if you can help it. The bad part of this gathering is leaving. You don't want to stop the hug or let go of the hand. I'd even cry if I weren't so controlled and macho.
Ok, I'll cry because I'm a sissy-boy at times like that.
