What The Fuck Do You Care What Kind Of Business It Is.. So Long As They Pay?

Work.. vent..

As I've posted.. I've been running around busting tail to try and sign people.

The owner of a place here in Forest Hills.. a kind of.. eating place.. was interested in talking to me, and seeing information. So... this morning.. I was originally told by K, my supervisor, that I was allowed to miss the Monday meeting to meet with the owner. I met with the owner, gave him info, and then got a terse email from K "Please try to stay away from resturants. They have very high turnover, and you might end up losing the clients you sign, and the sale".

So...

I cant sign "Giants" (IE Fridays, etc) because I';m told by K that I cant get to the "Decision maker". I'm asked not to sign resturants because of what K said. I cant sign companies with over a certain amount of workers, because I cant get to the decision maker, so that means no big stores IE Saks, etc.

Who the fuck do they want me to sign then?

I'm hopeful that my father can introduce me to a few people to sign.. so I can shut K up.

To be honest..

With all of the restrictions placed on me by K and others, if I had someone to back me in the business I really want to do.. I would leave. They are putting many impediments in my being successful.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I'm going to chill, and get back to work in a bit, figuring out just exactly who it is they want me to go after.

Carrying on with your life is really the only thing you can do in a situation like this. John will always be with you in your heart, I hope things keep returning back to normal. 🙂

Laughter is always a wonderful thing, even during our saddest times. I know it really helped me to get back into the swing of things after my mom died last year. Getting back to my normal daily activities also helped as it made me realize that life is going to go on. Even though we don't know each other, my heart is with you and your family and always remember to take it one day at a time :twohugs:
