I agree. I left for about a week once because someone had found my myspace and messaged a friend of mine, linking him to shit on the TMF. He hadn't known before then and I'm sure people will say "Oh you should just be open about it."

Sure, maybe, but that should have been my choice about when and how to do so. At any rate, I needed to take some time off to deal with what was going on and I was just really questioning being on the TMF and being such a loud voice on here.

Clearly, I came back, at least a little smarter.

There are good reasons why people leave, such as Knox, because there is a lot of drama on this website and it shouldn't affect you to the point where you can't just walk away from the screen and get on with your life.

But some people, I feel, just want the sympathy.

Indeed. Like I said, I understand why people leave in some cases. But it's those people who seem to have entirely selfish reasons that I can't have sympathy for and who I'm really referring to. Like the guy who's upset that he can't find a play partner after posting 6 times in 3 years, just as an example. Bottom line is that the TMF possesses the greatest overall content of any tickling site on the web, so to leave it behind for silly reasons is to deprive yourself.
