Tickle writers block/boredom

Hey fellow writers. I have a bit of a conundrum on my hands.

Now, I've liked writing as long as I've known how. Only started taking my stories seriously over the last few years, and one of my guilty pleasures is writing about how ticklish girls suffer. Anyway, my question is this....

I write a lot of stories. I write more than I share, start more than I finish, and think of a bunch I never start. Sometimes I don't share because my shameless fantasies feel a bit too selfish, and sometimes I just dont think its any good.

Among other reasons, and my big reason for this post is that sometimes I don't finish because I feel like I'm writing the same tickle scenes over and over.

Like, maybe I'm a boring writer who lacks imagination, or a boring ler who lacks experience, or both, but still, there are only so many ways and tools to attack the same spot. There are only so many spots. There are only so many adverbs to describe laughter, begging, and thrashing and squirming.

I want to keep writing new stories because I'm constantly thinking of new scenarios, but as I keep writing (especially the same, long story or some with recurring characters) I start glossing over the tickle scenes because I feel like they bog me down and stop me from finishing the story. I also do myself no favors because I have a particular interest in stories with multiple lees, because the competitive and teasy dynamics fascinate and arouse me.

As a reader, (only time I switch, lol) I love descriptive writing of tickles, even if I've seen it before just with a new lee and scenario but trying to write about a weekend getaway with your dream lee or something feels way harder than writing about a single session, and not the length alone, or because I cant picture it.

Like, I can picture every scene vividly and imagining it is still fun whether its repetitive or not, but writing it just feels harder.

Do I need to just keep writing those sweet tickles? Or is it ok to gloss over scenes in a longer story to see how it all plays out? Or do I just hang it up because I'm a lousy writer who sounds like a bad ler?

I think I've outlived him, perhaps... But I found more poison in a drawer of winter clothes, so I'm going to give them a good wash -- I won't let him win in the long run! Transdermal warfarin poisoning is no way to go. 🙂
