Hon, ain't nuthin' wrong with being sick of the clubs and running around half the night when you can be snuggled up with a good partner and not worry how you're gonna get home :manicd:. There are no rules and it's not a race, you have to go at your own speed or you'll feel resentful or somehow cheated later on. I was ready to settle down at 19, and I did; you know I still get my freak on and party, but I also got on with my life and created my little family and I wouldn't change a thing. It sounds like you're ready to have your home life in place, that's perfectly normal and doesn't mean you're getting boring, and it's nothing to roll eyes about :twohugs:

Honestly, I believe there's such a thing as a healthy balance. Just because you're 30 doesn't mean you have to sit at home and become an old maid. That also doesn't mean you have to hit the bar every weekend and blow off other responsibilities. It may just mean you're ready for a little more moderation. 🙂

Settling down's a good thing, I think. It means you've accomplished certain milestones you wanted to and are ready to move into the next chapter of your life. I'm not settled yet not -- regardless of whether I want to or not, it's because I haven't yet accomplished the milestones I feel I need in order to do so, that's all. Good for you for getting to that point, and if I'm reading this right, for finding someone to possibly settle down with. It's a good thing. Don't doubt it. 🙂
