You are welcome to PC/PM/whatever me right now; this is your invitation
See if you agree with any of this...
-- [1] The phrase, "Physical Fitness" is not profane or repulsive to me. My body is neither a source of egotistical vanity nor of shame; it's just normal.
-- [2] The dual-faceted (but nontheless singular) concept of...
(A) a generally healthy body, and
(B) a generally healthy lifestyle
...makes perfectly good sense to me.
-- [3] After initial text conversation, and establishing a reasonable belief that the other party is sane, mature, and sensible; I am not terrified of a microphone connected to a computer for a voice chat.
Fewer than one percent of the people whom you will encounter in this environment agree with all three of those things, and the majority will disagree with all of them.
i.e., they are instantly insulted at the mention of physical fitness, they live for the next party, get drunk regularly, have other chemicals in their life, their driving record shows wanton disregard for the law, their sleeping patterns are abstrusely inconsistent, their regular weekly schedule is anything but regular, and they are indeed horrified by the thought of actually speaking with another person; someone from right here in this environment, who has clearly demonstrated a similar interest in lifestyle; and a critically important similarity at that.
What benefit becomes of spending time with such persons ?
None.
