I'm moving closer and closer to my goal, now I'm wondering if I should go through with it.
Thanks to the new laws passing, I'm starting to wonder if it's even safe to try to open a studio. Apparently porn sites and studios will be getting the boot soon, so won't fetish content as well? Even if clothes stayed on and we didn't touch or show genitals? Most people agree the bill is pretty vague and can cover a lot of things, so now I'm worried.
I don't want to get involved with something that would now actually get me in trouble with the law. Even if I was in my rights, a super strict or conservative judge can still uphold an order and go through with any strikes against me. The whole thing is based on people's views on it, not necessarily the law itself.
This is also why now, despite my genius invention of the toetie, I don't think I could sell it. Bet you anything bondage equipment and sex toys will be next.
I want to still make the rv for personal reasons. Even before this I've been itching to travel the country, and go on a cool roadtrip for a few months. If I made a space dedicated to it, I could still rent it out for people to play in, or offer my services as a ler. But given the climate, it feels too risky to try to open an actual studio right now. No one can see the future and promise it would be safe lol.
The reason Im concerned is even erotica is apparently targeted under the bill. If written content under a story isn't safe, then videos definitely won't be.
What I could do is maybe offer written commissions of "playful" tickling. No bondage, no erotica, maybe not even romantic plotlines. Something that can be argued to be innocuous, but at least have the meat of what we're looking for.
I don't know. If I could find a business partner willing to travel with me and 'lee, I could probably do that. I mean I'm bringing them the live experience, so people would like that? Either way, I may need to hold off on videos until I can get more certainty of the direction of the future.
