Last night, around midnight, I received a text of some very bad news.
I mentioned three weeks ago how my best friend Adam was taken to the hospital on Thanksgiving weekend due to problems with his heart.
Adam spent two weeks in the hospital, after which he was released, and was staying with his parents.
All week long, Adam has been telling everyone how he does not feel well.
Last night about midnight, I got a text from Adam.
"Mitch, unfortunately, I was just taken back to the ER with serious breathing problems. "
Adam is again hospitalized, with no idea when he is being released.
Adam is such a kind human being.
I'm an only child, so I consider Adam like the brother I've never had.
If anyone reads this, and has prayers for Adam, please post them.
Adam has not posted anything about this on the major social media siites, so I will not say a word.
All of this makes the increasingly bad headaches I've been getting, and my upcoming Botox shot on Tuesday, seem almost, trivial by comparison.
Sigh!

At age 55, Adam is too young to deal with this, and Adam has far more life to live, and Adam, Adam's family and I who all love him so much due to the wonderful kind person he is, have far more things to do together.
