Inspired by Skip's thread in GenDis--but it's personal enough that it belongs here...
(A heads-up: I do not curtail my Godspeak. He's shown me far too much of who/what He is to listen to anything that would try and tell me who/what He isn't. I am His. 😀)
This is a Casting Crowns morning for me, I guess...
I've been on both sides of this fence. Actually, there are three positions--the betrayer, the betrayed and the catalyst, and again, I must honestly admit I've stood in each role at one time or another at various points in my life. Each experience almost destroyed me and I'm well-acquainted with what an emotional bloodbath feels like now; still, when I look back, I can see clearly that the Lord prevailed on my behalf each time. Maybe if I'd seen this first, things might have been different:

A video made for Britney. How can anyone claim to hate a girl who's so lost and hurting..? And how dare we judge or criticize someone so harshly when we have no possible idea what a day in her life is really like?

Song of strength I'd listen to every time I'd feel fear of failure about our W.A.R. business venture. As we have glorified His name every step of the way, our successes and opportunities have been more than awesome so far:

And finally, a song of hard conviction to remind me that saying I'm a Christian means nothing. Behaving as a Christian is everything. This one reminds me to walk my talk and infuriates me at church hypocrisies at the same time:

On to the day ahead...love to all.
