RANT - IGNORE THIS
It is truly ridiculous to see some front runners of this community acting like children. Granted, some of them may still qualify due to age, but you'd think, based on the position they chose to take in the TMF, they'd act accordingly.
There is so much bullshit, talking behind peoples backs, politics, snide comments, people coming to others aids in threads and I'm thinking, "Why do they need help? Are they not grown ass adults fully understanding of the consequences that someone might actually disagree with them in this thread? They really need someone to help them?"
Of course not. It's just the whole "power in numbers" thing you learned on the playground.
I disagree with the whole "clique" mentality, but I understand how it starts and how it continues. I just don't get others that disagree with it don't understand it.
To a point, I'm almost glad I have been forced to take a step back from the TMF in terms of being so involved. It's tiring keeping up with the gossip and who's in and who's out.
I just want to make friends, enjoy conversations (even debates), and get on with my day. But there seems to be no end to the bickering.
I don't get it, but I love this place anyway. Hopefully, it's just one of those phases this place goes through and the pendulum will swing the other way soon. I figure it will with the annual love-in due to start any day now.
