My Dad was supposed to have his back surgery today.
It was already postponed a couple of times this week, including yesterday.
I wanted to wait patiently today.
By 7 pm, I wanted to find out.
I decided to e-mail my Dad. I did not want to text or call in case he was sleeping.
Now almost 10, not a word.
Most important, I hope the surgery was successful, and that my Dad is okay,. God Willing.
Hopefully, I'll find out something tonight.
If not, I'm going to have to hold my water, and wait until mid morning tomorrow.
At which point I'll call my Dad's cell phone, and see if he answers.
If he does not, I'll contact my neurologist, who is close friends with my Dad's surgeon.
