drink WARM, not hot, chammomile tea with honey, lemon, and ginger root. It's a temporary soother and will act sort of as a numbing substance. There is actually a specific tea called throat coat that works well IMO, but if it's easier to just get chammomile do that. Neither throat coat or chammomile taste very good, but they get the job done 😛. Hope you feel better, herna! *hugs*
Glad the surgery went well for you babe. The girls above had good suggestions for the throat, but its slightly "bruised" from the endotracheal tube, and sore throat and hoarseness is very common. Treat it like a regular sore throat, but it should only last a few days while it heals. Feel better boo.
I hate that sore throat ya get from breathing tubes! Advil and some hot liquids or sherbert are usually what I fall back on. Hope you feel better soon!
