Before I start this post, I want to say that my mom had a very nice birthday, thank heaven, and she feels fine, but something happened that is truly weird.
The day was sailing along nicely. Trip to the hair salon to see my dream girl Kristie and get my hair cut, supermarket visit, where I ran into my friend Paul from the Off Track place, and told him I will be there for my bday on Monday. Then.. when we got to the Japanese Resturant, things turned .. odd.
Mom and I sat down, ordered our food, and toasted to her still thank God being with me. . Suddenly, a guy who looked younger than me, with a shaved head, and weird looking eyes, came up to me and said "Sir, you shouldnt take it out on people because you're having a bad day". I was simply stunned, and said something like "What are you talking about". The guy repeated the exact sentence he had said before, and then left..
The guy wasnt joking. He had as serious of a look as I have ever seen. My main concern was that he wasnt going to do something to my mom.
At the point he said this to me, I hadnt spoken to anyone in the resturant except my mom, the hostess who sat us, and the waitress who took our order. I was in no way rude, or short.. to anyone.
I never like to judge anyone, because I know that I'm far from perfect, but this incident creeped me out. My mom said that for the rest of lunch, I had a shocked look on my face.
I had a good day anyway, in spite of this incident. I seriously think the guy who said it to me, was stoned. or high on something. The look in his eyes, and the way he just randomly walked up to me, and said what he did.
Anyhow, thats all. Figured I was best off posting it here, as opposed to the main forum.
