I'm admittedly a little blue about going back to the grind tomorrow. I love having time off, but I struggle to get back into routine. And to top it off, I have to be at work disgustingly early tomorrow. It also means I'll leave early, but waking up early, especially on a Monday, is not my forte. I seriously could be the star of Office Space.
Had an amazing weekend, but managed to get into a little bit of trouble, and the leash has been tightened. That's all I'm going to say about that. I have to buckle down with a few things re: my health. I've been slacking and I need to get my shit together. And I really, really want to find a home church here. I've tried numerous churches here, and nothing feels "right." I hate church shopping. I just want to find where I belong, and go there.
Counting down the days til I head home for Christmas. Gonna be a long drive with the weens!
I did a ton of Christmas shopping today. I bought tons of ingredients to make cookies and bars, which will be going out in the mail to various family and friends in the next two weeks. I was sorely tempted to buy the beautiful cookies and goodies at the grocery store, and pass them off as my own!
T'was a fun day. Had odd dreams last night, and something is "not right" in the back of my head (no comments from peanut gallery, plzkthx). I had hoped to be asleep an hour ago. *facepalm* I wish I was snuggling with Mommy right now. =( UGHDONOTWANNAGOTOWORK and am dreading my evil boss who returns in 2 weeks from maternity leave. I sorta feel like I just blogged about all this yesterday. If I did, I apologize for the repeat.
