My Dad is having more trouble.
He wants to talk every day. I did not/forgot to call him on Monday, and after Jim Gardner at 630, my dad called and was very concerned. "Are you okay?" It turns out I was okay.
Yesterday, this morning, I had a terrible 24 hours worrying about him.
I called him about 2 pm yesterday, voicemail. Left a message. No answer, no call back. Waited until 9, pm last night. texted him. "Dad, are you okay, very concerned about you" No answer, all night.
Now, because of his recent health problems I was beginning to freak out.
Neither my uncle nor my Dad's wife called me saying my Dad was in the hospital, so I was not sure what was wrong.
This morning around 9 am, I called his number again. My Dad finally answered, and sounded disoriented.
I said "Dad, what's wrong"
My Dad said. "I have a severe eye infection, the eye Dr was at my apartment, it' s not the end of the world"
I just told him I love him and then we hung up.
My Dad wears contact lenses, and reading glasses, but I think with all his health issues and recovery time, and being home a lot the past few months, he has had his lenses out a lot.
Whatever the case, hopefully he will recover soon.
Sigh!
God watch over my Dad.
What will happen next?
Hopefully he will recover, and nothing else will happen.
As my family has discussed, my Dad has been through enough!
