One common topic I've seen is gang tickling, or being tickled by a number of Lers all at the same time.
I don't know why I felt the need to define that very obvious term.
I've never had the opportunity to be tied down and tickled by more than one person, and honestly, I'm not sure that's a bad thing. Tickling is such a personal experience for me that I'm not sure I'd be able to share it with a large group of people.
Sure, there is something exciting about the notion of 4-5 people all wanting to drive me insane with laughter, but I'm not sure it'd be as effective as I would dream.
The only time I was ever tickled by more than 2 people (that I can remember) was as an adolescent, and since I was a minor I'll spare you the details.
What I do remember is that very quickly, my body shorted out. I soon was almost catatonic, not responding in any of the usual ways, just curled up into a ball, twitching. It still tickled, but the reactions quickly caused concern, and rightfully so. I probably looked like I was going to die.
So perhaps 'gang tickling' isn't for me.
However, a pair of ticklers is another story.
I often imagine myself surrendering to two Lers, who are going to work in perfect harmony to tickle me senseless. While one tickler is likely still my favorite number, 2 probably could be a lot of fun, provided the work in tandem.
I saw a French Tickling picture once, a girl with her arms up and out to the side, each one being held by a tickler who was tickling under that arm. That looked like a lot of fun.
Ditto the notion of lifting one foot onto one tickler's lap, then the other onto a second. That's something I'd like to do someday.
So, to summarize, 2 ticklers sound fun, any more than that and I likely no longer become a fun ticklee.
