I feel this really personally applies to me when it comes to fakes because throughout my years I've run into a lot and they all have had similar patterns. 1) As that famous saying goes, "If it looks too good too be true it probably is." Now that saying is really helpful in spotting fakes. Now am I sayin there aren't super gorgeous people in this lifestyle? Why no I am not, but I'd also be lying to you if I said I have run into a ton of people that looked like supermodels(Yes yes I know, "Beauty is the eye of the beholder."). Still if all the person's pics look fanfuckingtastic then they may not be real. Which brings me to...
2) Always always always do a reverse image search. Reverse image searching has come a long way and the easiest one to use is Via Google images. Now to rip images off of here all you'll need to do is right click and click on view image. Then once you have the image drag it to the Google search image bar and presto. You'll get a ton of hits showing where else the image is uploaded or you'll get no hits. Which brings me to...
3) If you still have doubts ask the person you're chatting with if they webcam or if you can call to hear their voice. Tell them you've been screwed over before by fakes and if they're scared to give you their number there are many apps like NextPlus that give you a voice over internet protocol number(This allows you to use your cellphone, but gives you a new number via the internet.) Google phone will do this for you as well. And lastly...
4) This applies to fake females more so then males, but a big red flag for me is when they right off the bat try to initiate role playing and don't really care to get to know me.
I hope this helps snd my best advice if you do run into a fake is to either ignore the profile, put them on your ignore list, and of course if they ever threaten you in any way report them to the moderators. Don't be a drama lama and call them out all over here or other sites similar like FetLife.
