I was talking to a friend today, discussing a subject which we both share a fear of, in death.
I was contemplating this at the time, and I realised how many times, I truly scare myself at nights by thinking of death, the idea of just not being able to think, see, hear, breath, all of the little commodities of life which are just natural just ceasing to be inside your body, and the thought seriously scares me.
Being non-religious, I just can't use logical sense to believe in something just to comfort myself and quench my fear slightly, and instead just end up thinking we just... End up feeling, thinking... Nothing at all. Just like sleeping, but without the dreaming, and the chance at sleep-walking... And it truly terrifies me.
So, if anyone else sees this blog post, does anybody else fear death as much as I do? Or, what do you think happens when you die? Be you, non-religious, or religious?
