Point! Counterpoint! A one-man TMF, I even flame myself!!!
Do we really want future generations picking through our ids to study and judge? Wouldn't it be better if, in fact, we're all just having one big party...and one day....someone has to shut the lights off? And no one will ever know there was a TMF. Only rumors about it. Were you....a member?
Man oh man, we'd NEVER find each other. Never.
We'd all get TMF tattoos....it would be like...Freemasons. "What's 'TMF', what's that tattooed on your arm?" "If you don't know, then I can't say." "Why can't y..." "Don't ask me again."
Technology will probably be the thing...it will just mutate into something else. We'll all get left flat. The new club on the block.
Probably a virtual reality club! Instead of IM'ing and chatting, they'll make up characters and meet up in virtual reality rooms. Like "Brainstorm", or "Wild Palms" (for those who remember those two....)
So what do YOU think? Would you rather just occupy an obscure corner of the internet…..or is it neat being part of something that is (currently) the definitive place to find out about this….thing. This thing. We call it a thing. I call it a thing, anyway. Fetishes, pffft. Just a way to put people in a box.
