Today I watched anime and thought to myself about the true meaning of perversion.
My college logic teacher once told us that Freud was full of it because he made denial sound like something that was negative.
ex.
Freud: "Do you hate your father?"
Male: "No."
Freud: "You're in denial."
If ~ can be defined as the inverse of statement following...
The male is in denial of hating his father, but that's like saying that either you like apples or (~)you like apples. Since these are two mutually exclusive events one must be true.
So when someone brings up the word perversion, it somehow has the same kind of negative train of thought.
Merely being grouped in a deviant group is enough to change what was once a perversion of the norm to become the new norm.
Therefore
Perversion or (~)Perversion
