Aside from the constant mispronunciation of my name, which can't really be helped, there are a few words that I hear mispronounced on a regular basis.
I understand people from different places have different accents and ways of saying things, but some things are just supposed to sound a certain way.
For instance, Italian is pronounced it-al-yin, but for some reason people, many from the southern states like to say it "eye-tal-yin." Show me on the map where fucking Eyetaly is, please.
The second one is the word milk. Seems pretty fucking self explanatory to me. Only four letters. Whoever decided that they were going to start pronouncing it like the "i" was an "e" should be punched in the mouth. I mean, what the fuck is "melk?"
That is all.
