I got my first real writing gig!
It doesn't pay, but I don't care. I'm super excited because it's going to great experience.
I'll be writing for www.folkwax.com and my first assignment is to review three cd's. Folk is kind of a misnomer in that many singer/songwriters and alternative rock can fit under that genre as well.
And since the site has mostly writers in their 40s, I hope to bring something different to the site.

Fleet Foxes - self titled album
St. Vincent - "Actor"
Haunted Attics - self titled EP
