The only positive news. (Extremely important) is that supposedly, my father is fine.
However.
My own situation is far from good.
On Thursday the 11th.
My Dr informed me that my bp was 140 over 90.
Fairly high.
He also told me that I was "mistakenly" taken off my BP meds, and such.
When I called his office to ask for the last refill of meds, his nurse told me that I had been taken off them.
Then I see the Dr, and he said I had not been taken off them.
Supposedly, the med was going to be called into the pharmacy on Thursday.
Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, the med was not called in. I called the Dr's office, and the pharmacy, several times, on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday, to no avail.
I called his office one day, had an animated conversation with the nurse, and was told she did not know what happened.
Then on Tuesday, I went back to the pharmacy, and was told it still had not been called in again.
The pharmacy called the Dr office, I called the Dr office.
Finally, late on Tuesday, the Dr office called me to say that the med would be called into the pharmacy so that I could pick it up.
No call from the pharmacy.
Today, Wednesday morning, hopefully, , I have to go back to the pharmacy to see if this was finally resolved.
The irony of this whole mess.
Initially on Thursday, the Dr had told me he wanted me to take the BP med for "7 days", and then to come see him again this Thursday the 18th.
With all the screw ups , I had to change said appointment to Tuesday the 23rd, because I did not/do not have the med.
I'm hoping that this mess is resolved by today, Wednesday the 17th.
I could see it being delayed, one day, for red tape/miscommunication, etc etc.
Not seven days, especially since the Dr already admitted that the mess up was due to it being messed up in his office in the first place, as he claimed he never took me off the med, even though the nurse in his office said he did, and refused to refill it, when I called for the regular refill.
Sigh!
How nice!
