It would seem that default Facebook policy causes messages from people not on your friends list to be inconspicuously deposited into the "Other" folder of your messages! Dammit! So it's looking like the only way to get the sockpuppets' attentions is to add them as friends, which is a bit obtrusive and frowned upon by Facebook. I'm going to have to think about this, and maybe give them more time to see my messages. I hate this.
