Election years have always sucked on the TMF, I have to remind myself. 2004 was ugly. I wasn't here for 2008, but 2012 was totally ugly. I'm sure 2008 was ugly....how could it not be?
I got myself banned from the P&R Forum...I requested it! And you know what? Its the best! It's like the TMF used to be! It doesn't appear on your screen at all, anywhere! It's completely invisible! No dopey headlines on the main index page all day long, right at the top of the page, putting everybody in a bad mood (and also can be a total embarrassment if someone's visiting). It doesn't appear in the General Discussion section, it's not there at all, there's nothing to click on. And if you go on your friends' profile pages? Their P&R posts are completely invisible, you have no exposure to what they're writing. Only if you sign out of your account can you see it.
It's a beautiful idea that to be banned from the Forum you have no exposure to it! It's not like you're on the outside of the gates looking in, it's as if the Forum was scrubbed clean of it! It would be great it was completely elective to view it! Something you had to subscribe to! I'll bet more than half the Forum would happily block it.
When I do happen to see it? When I'm signed out? Hoo-hoo, lol, hahahahaha. It's LOL-Time! Man oh man, they need help in there starting threads! lol. You'd never know what's going in the world if you were to only be exposed to the TMF P&R Forum, lol.
