Spring Fever!

Well, it looks like I only have three more weeks of school after this one is over with. Then it's finals week. :shock:

I just can't friggin' wait for this semester to be over and done with so I can start my classes at IU. The weeks go by pretty fast, though...It does suck that I have a double-whammy of tests next Tuesday: math and world history. :doh:

But my math teacher totally lied about probability being the hardest chapter we will ever do. It so totally isn't. 😱 To me, it's soooo much easier than the financing chapter. So far, at least. We have about 2 more sections of the chapter to go, so we'll see if I'll be eating my words. ^^;;

But wow, the stuff I have to read for Brit Lit is pretty crazy. There's this one poem called "The Imperfect Enjoyment" and it's soooo explicit. Especially for its time. XD It even uses strong words like "****" and "fucking". lolololol And it also implies that the speaker of the poem feels that his penis is inadequate for love-making because he's too old or something. Pretty hilarious. :bwahaha:

And everyday it seems that I find out that more and more of my past childhood friends are queer. O__O It's just so weird how we all, like, gravitated toward one another. lol We totally had gaydar even way back then. :trippyrainbow:

And in other news, I'm totally loving this nice spring weather. The Bradford Pear and Dogwood trees are especially beautiful with their white and pink blossoms. And I'm really diggin' this purplish vegetation that I keep seeing on the bright green grass. It's a very nice contrast...purple and green have to be my favorite color combination. :redheart:

So what do I have to look forward to this weekend? Well, there's youth group on Saturday. 😀 And I also have a LOT of homework to do. 🙁 Not only do I have to study for TWO tests, but I also have a short paper to write as part of my annotated research project for Brit Lit. Fun...>.> I don't mind writing if it's fun stuff like different types of writing pieces. Back in middle school, I remember all my fellow classmates complaining about having to write so much for their portfolios, but I loved it. We got to write poems, memoirs, editorials, short stories...good stuff like that. :rose:

Nowadays the writing is all...bleh.

OH, and I totally panicked on Facebook the other day when some new guy from my gay youth group wrote on my wall to ask me where I got my rainbow bracelet. You should've seen me when I read it, I swear my eyes about popped out of my skull. O___O But I got over it pretty quickly and answered his question as best I could. I'll just let my FB friends that don't know I'm gay believe what they wanna believe. Though I prefer to be as ambiguous as possible for now. 😉 So yeah, to all my TMF friends who also happen to be friends with me on FB, thank you sooo much for not outing me and respecting the fact that I prefer to come out in my own time. ^__^ Although as I'm typing this, I see one of you with this evil grin on your face, planning some sort of evil scheme to push me outta the wardrobe. :bwahaha:

And now, just because I feel like it, I'm gonna post two videos of the day. This one here is the new music video I just discovered for Skillet's song "Hero". I feel so lucky that when I attended my 2nd Skillet concert last year, I was among the very first to hear this song. So it has a special place in my heart, I guess. And OMG Jen Ledger is so fuckin' hawt in this MV! O__O Lyk...whoa. Ru, you better go back to Coventry and stalk her house for me. 😈

I already told hyper_ticklish about this, but when I first saw this video, I seriously thought that the firefighter dude looked like the new Freddy Krueger from a distance. lol

And this next video is Kamelot's music video to their song, "Ghost Opera". "Ghost Opera" may not be one of my favorite Kamelot songs, but I still appreciate the haunting, eerie feel of it. And Roy Khan is the greatest star in the universe. :redheart:
