I saw a picture of a woman trapped in stocks, except that the holes of the stocks were essentially over her shins, if not a little higher. This meant that her entire foot, ankle and calf were exposed and free to move around.
What's the point?
The beauty of stocks, to me, and why they're the perfect foot tickling bondage device, is that ideally it keeps the foot STILL. The ankle is enclosed in the holes so that the foot can't wiggle around as much, and then if you're lucky, the toes get tied back so that the sole is nicely arched, toes spread a bit. Just perfectly positioned.
If you're not going to have something close to that, why bother using stocks in the first place?
