No, nothing happened to me, thankfully.
However, I witnessed an incident today that was very unpleasant.
The train pulled into the subway station in the town I live in, which also is the ending station for the line I was riding to go to my appointment
Some people got off. They have.. subway cleaners with black jackets with yellow on them, who come with sanitizing bottles to clean the train throughly.
The man doing the job came on, and was cleaning the train with his bottle.
On the other side of the subway car I was sitting on, as the guy was using his cleaning bottle, he came across a woman with a paper bag in her hand, who was staggering all over the place. She was apparently drunk.
The man cleaning the trein politely said. "Excuse me, Madam"
Instead of getting out of the guy's way, the woman started arguing with him, and blocked his way to clean the train. .
The guy just looked at this woman, and tried to get past her, but she continued to fall all over the place, and argue with him.
For information sake. The subway cleaning guy was hulking,... big and brawny, and probably at least a hundred pounds heavier than this woman who was disputing him.
Also considering it looked like he was an official NYC subway cleaner, he could conceivably have gotten off the train, or, used a cell phone, to call the cops, and get the woman in trouble.
Finally the woman who was arguing with the subway cleaner, passed out, and the guy finished cleaning the train, got off, and the train started moving, with this woman, fast asleep, passed out from whatever it was she was drinking. (Most likely a lot of alcohol from the way she was acting, staggering, and then passed out.
A rather, creepy and weird incident.
