My dizzy spells and headaches are continuing.
To the point where I spent most of this weekend in bed.
This morning, I went to the Neurologist.
They saw me, and told me.
"You have Migraines. "
I question this, and have to read up on it further.
I've always thought that Migraines come with an upset stomach, which I dont have.
The nurse pracitioner sad.
"Not always".
I was given a new medication that is supposed to deal with this.
I've heard the new med can have serious side effects with it.
I'm going to read it carefully, and depending on what I find, may call the Dr again.
Sigh!
Is this finally going to solve this terrible problem I've been having for so many months.
This problem seems worse than a seizure itself.
I have not had a seizure since April 16, more than four months. The longest I've gone without one in a very long time. Which is somewhat.. miraculous considering how terrible this summer has been for me.
Yet, these dizzy spells seem ongoing, and as someone who is close to me pointed out, continuous.
Hopefully, this new med will work, and this dizzy spell problem will finally be under control.
My BP was also very low when they took it.. 90 over 60. They were shocked about that, and said its the lowest reading they have ever seen on me.
These dizzy spells are actually worse than any seizure I've ever had except for the worst ones.
Except for the two seizures that hospitalized me, and that I nearly died from in 2011 and 2015. '
Usually, with a major seizure, I get it, feel very sick and I'm in bed for 24-48 hours, and I'm okay after that.
These dizzy spells have been ongoing for months.
I don't know if they are lingering side effects from the major seizure I had this past April, or something else.
Anyhow. Hopefully this new med will help, and I will be on the road to finally feeling better.
