Tickle Torture Methods Series: The Humble Chair
With all the internet access to hundreds of sex shops, BDSM equipment, and full-blown bondage furniture available today, anyone can become a well equipped Dungeon Master with a few clicks from the privacy of their own home... provided their wallet is big enough. Still, while a home decorated in bondage leather rococo might be trés chic (in spite of the mailman's knowing smirk), its always good for the practicing Tickle Torture Sadist to know how to make due with what is at hand in the field.
Consider the humble chair.
A favorite of mine is the ubiquitous heavy desk chair one finds (quite handily) in most decent hotels. Innocent looking and mundane, the chair hides a secret talent; for as much as it is designed for sitting, the chair is a magnificent and adept bondage device. In normal positioning, the body conforms to the chair shape and looses leverage. It is much easier for a prone body to squirm and thrash (even in 5 point spread eagle) than one that is seated. The chair has a natural limitation on movement and there is the added psychological damper to thrashing due to the inherent fear of falling over.
A good sturdy chair with arms (as pictured) provides a pleasing plethora of pugnacious tie points and perversely poesy positioning possibilities; arms down legs, arms on arms, arms overhead and back, legs together or spread, arms or legs crossed. To say nothing of using the chair unconventionally; legs over the arms of the chair, backward, kneeling, under the chair on back with arms and legs up and the inverse. In all, the chair is always the center of gravity (baring an unusually light chair - and certainly, I don't ever recommend a dangerous folding chair.) it becomes a form of yoke more than a bondage platform.
There is also a wonderful psychological paradox for the Ticklee, for a chair is surely the most common of domestic things and what is more natural than sitting in one; but now the chair becomes an cruel instrument of torture; a large unyielding hand that refuses to release. The terrible humiliation of prolonged tickle torture in so everyday an object.
And for that reason alone, the natural seated position with an nine point tie is my favorite to use. Fused to the chair with rope, straps, or bondage tape, there is nothing so fun as to circle the helpless and leisurely choose points along the body to tickle; the victim can do little more than flail some fingers, or crane a neck. And what avid tickler does not know of the tip-back technique, lowered backward to rest on the floor, soles exposed in an impromptu form of stocks?
Seated in front of the bound beauty, the seemingly merciful act of uniting one ankle turns to horror as they realize you have plopped the helpless and naked foot in your seated lap. Now they can only watch as you exact peals of laughter from their ridiculously normal position.
