Our review class teacher, Ed, has repeatedly talked about "Morale Hazards" in insurance, his definition being "I'm the only one who matters, and I don't care about what anyone else thinks".
Before I found Aflac.. I was going to the casino, a lot. I knew it was upsetting my dad, and my aunt. My dad went so far as to talk to me about it on Thanksgiving 2012. I simply didn't care what he said, and just kept doing it, multiple times a week, while not even trying to persue a career.
Now, even though I'm working my ass off.. and I know I need a break.. I'm about to head to the casino today thinking. "Hmmm.. Should I really be doing this? With the test coming up in 3 days?"
The few hours I'm going to be gone wont make a difference in my study time.. because.. I';ll study later today when I come home, and tomorrow and Sunday most of the day. Funny thing is.. my relatives know I'm going today, and didn't say a word, because they know how hard I've been working.
Hopefully today can relax me before the final push of studying. I had a good time at the casino last weekend. I cant go back again until after the exam, because I need to study, and with the bad weather coming in.
