On my quest for new folk music, I found this Australian indie rock band, Haunted Attics (inspired by a radiohead lyric). I've only heard three songs by them and "We Eat Young Souls" is by far the best. They sound a bit like a mix of The Strokes, Spoon, and Arctic Monkeys.
