What do I love about tickling?
What a great question.
- I love the sensations, first and foremost. The feeling of being tickled is wonderful. Well, most of the time its wonderful - some of the time it sucks! But even that, in its own way, is wonderful.
- The variety of sensations. The light caress-tickle, the deeper tickle, the touch of a soft brush, the scrape of a fingernail.
- I love the anticipation. Knowing you're going to be tickled, or thinking that it's going to happen. The mind begins to play tricks on you.
- Coming off of that, those "phantom tickles" that start before a tickler even touches you, or the ones that linger long after they are done.
- The helplessness. Bondage is usually key for this, but in so much of my life I am in solid control; being tickled is the one time I can freely surrender the control without worry.
- The chemistry that happens with just the right tickler.
- The intimacy of two bodies close together. We are creatures who crave contact. Not necessarily sexual contact, but just the affection of others. Tickling, even intense, is a sign of affection.
- The laughter. Laughing is just plain fun, even when it's tortured. Well, OK, sometimes not "fun" per se. You know what I mean.
- The way my brain immediately begins working against me. Revealing tips and tricks I'd never think about sharing, walking that delicate edge of love and hate, all of that.
- I'm sure there are many others, but this is all I can think of without coffee.
