    Don't mind at all, I study something thats called Creative Studies. It's a mixture of Film/media/journalism and creative writing. Plus there are lots of modules from stuff like theatre,digital media and English you can do. It's basically a media course times 10 =D Do you study anything?

    I've been studying a lot for both of my anthropology classes and a bit community psychology test. You played for 24 hours??? Wow! I would sleep for days. haha

    I never owned a cello, that was back in my school days, many, many years ago and the school district provided a very basic one. After getting out of school I let it slide sadly.

    Wanting to take up playing music again years later, I bought a violin and was taking private lessons. My instructor mentioned that the fingering for mandolin and violin are similar. I've always like Bluegrass music so I picked one up, a Gibson I think. Then the economy at the time went south. I could not afford the lessons and needed money so I sold the violin and gave the mandolin to a long ago ex sister-in-law.

    I got one, and I've been learning some songs that have simple chords, but... I seem to experience quite some trouble getting my hand in the right position for the chord.....
    Some of them seem like they're impossible to hold =/

    Hey, as long as you enjoy it that's what matters. I played cello for many years, and had a mandolin and violin I messed around with but never really did anything with it.

    Nice. :) It was last week, but this weekend and this week it has become a lot better. :D Yesterday the weather was really nice! :woot: Sounds gr8! :) Except from that you burnt your arm of course. :p Okay. :) Have you lived somewhere else before, or have you just not gotten the accent?     haha it was "The Little Prince" By Rachel SomethingOrOther based on the childrens french book. I was a Baobab and wore THE most absurd costume! It was fun and embarassing lol. I'm still jealous of any instermental talent!
    And as far as transposinggoes... it's a nightmare! haha not to save my life!!

    Lol, I'm not linked with the film, but it was on the tv when I was trying to think up a username. And anywho, I'm good, how are you?

    I usually sing a dramatic mezzo-soprano, but have sung high soprano, and was once forced to sing barri-tenor (I was an evil tree...)
    I've been singing for seven years, but opera only about three. Music really is my life lol.
    I'm absolutly rotten at insterments, however! I can play enough piano to help figure out notes and beats etc, and am pretty good at sight reading, but still rotten at insterments.

    The guitar is such a great insterment and one of my favorites but with all the frets and strings, I give you kudos for playing!!

    :) Thanks so much for the message! In addition to opera I sing a lot of showtunes and a fair amount of jazzy songs. How long have you been playing guitar? The acousitc is one of my favoite insterments!

    Daaamn, you've got some crazy skills with that guitar! I've never seen/heard anyone play quite like that!
    Heh, I major in English right now, mainly because I have no idea what I want to do for a living, but reading/writing is fun. :p
    Oh man, favorite Aerosmith song... I don't think I could even pick a favorite album. xD Lately I've become pretty fond of Walk on Water, but that changes every week or so. :p
    And hey dude, if you ever become a rockstar, take me with you! Lol, we'll be like the toxic twins... or the tickling twins, ohgawd. xD!

    Oh yeah, I love Slash too. Slash idolized Joe Perry, and Joe Perry idolized Jimmy Page, I believe- he's another favorite of mine. (And aren't there rumors that he liked to tie up girls and tickle them? Lol rockstars have all the fun).
    I'd love to buy a guitar if I wasn't a broke college student. :p I own three: the first one is an electric ibanez I got for my 13th birthday (so I've been playing for around 6 years now), and it's still my favorite. :) My dad is known to throw money around for no apparent reason on rare occasions, and decided to get me a gibson sg a few years later, since I was always such a fan of Angus Young. xD And I have an accoustic ibanez now too.
