Anyone know who this is? Important

This guy somehow scammed my credit cards and charged me 2500 dollars. Claims I paid him to fly from the UK to the USA to kidnap my friend and tickle him. He knows my friends address and a the names of his friends.

He’s messaged me on Instagram with multiple threats and refuses to cooperate with the credit card companies to dispute the charges.

Says he’s exempt from the law because he’s from the UK.

I assume you did not provide this individual with your card credentials.

You don't need him to end it. Call your credit card company and report a fraudulent charge on it, request a reversal, and then for the card to be closed as compromised, and a new one issued. Problem solved.

Possibly (and probably) a valid opinion. But why do you believe so? I need a bit more than 'This is a scam' with no supporting facts to take action.

C’mon man…. Really? You don’t see this account’s first post as suspect?

Sure it can read as suspect as a first post.

But that doesn't mean it's a scam either. There is no way to know without more information or posts.

Moderation is more of an art than science, and rule one is to not read assumptions into a post but take it at face value unless something else indicates otherwise. Either we'll learn more, or nothing will happen and it will sink over times and vanish into the old post sludge.
